Its a blog about cooking - not food, cooking. And football. Cookball some might say...or Footking, actually no, that could get me in trouble.

Yes. It is a Gravy Fountain.
So, at the end of my last blog I hinted at a secret idea that I had for an upcoming Royal Wedding party organised by the wonderful hosts of Sexual Heights. And here I can reveal the final masterpiece...
I got to thinking about classic buffets, with many items being on sticks, and considering it was a Royal Wedding I wanted to do something intrinsically British. After some small deliberation I came up with the idea of using a chocolate fountain as a centre piece, but for something other that chocolate, with bite size items for people to dip in.
Firstly I though of mini fish and chips with a mushy pea fountain (which I may do at a later stage), but then it came to me, what is more British than a good old roast dinner, beef to be precise, with some crispy roast potatoes and crunchy, light yorkshire puddings. Nothing I tell thee.
And so it was born; Rare Roast Beef, Garlic and Rosemary Roast Potatoes and Mini Yorkshire Puddings on Sticks with a Gravy Fountain as a centrepiece.
So to Wills and Kate, good luck, god bless, and long live our gracious roast dinner...on a stick...with a gravy fountain.
